There are lots of activities to do in Navarre that will be sure to entertain young children, such as the Sea Turtle Conservation Center and the Gulf Coast Discovery Center. Gamble Rogers Memorial State Recreation Area Campground is situated along with the Atlantic Ocean and the Intracoastal Waterway so you are surrounded by beautiful ocean scenery. The campground is located at Flagler beach so you are waking right on the shore.

6. Dr. Julian G. Bruce St. George Island State Park Campground

Dr. Julian G. Bruce St. George Island State Park Compound can be found at St. George Island in Florida and is the perfect destination for those who love the beach. Located at Santa Rosa Beach, Grayton Beach State Park Campground is perfect for nature and wildlife lovers. There are numerous opportunities at the campground for wildlife viewing as deer, foxes, black bears, and lots of different birds inhabit the area. 

The campground has a variety of amenities such as hot showers, electric hookups, and a dump station for guests to use. There are lots of facilities for families to use like outdoor grills and picnic tables, and a lakeside RV site for you to enjoy the views of the lake as soon as you wake up. 

There are nature trails specially designed for both hiking and biking through the salt marshes kayaks available to rent. For RV guests, pets are allowed but not on the beaches, so you can enjoy long trail walks with your pets for them to explore a new area. 

You are welcome to fish on the Western Lake with a license and to swim at the beach but you must be aware that there are no lifeguards. You are also welcome to bring your own canoes and kayaks to use at the campground as well as your own bikes to use along the trails. 

If you don’t have an RV, don’t worry! Grayton Beach has pinewood cabins in the woods for you to rent that are only a short distance away from the Gulf of Mexico.

9. Beverly Beach Camptown RV Resort

Beverly Beach Camptown RV Resort can be found at Flagler Beach in Florida and also have cabins available to rent. The campground has two laundry facilities with TVs, free WiFi and cable, and three bathhouses to use for your convenience. There is a convenience store on-site serving snacks, beach gear, and beverages.

The campground offers 20/30/50 amps, and free WiFi is available to guests staying a the resort so you will be fully catered to during your stay. It also has easy access to four beach walkways, and Daytona Beach is only a short drive away from the campground so you can enjoy plenty of activities that aren’t only in one area. 

The campground is practically on the beach, so you really couldn’t be closer to the ocean if you tried. Beverly Beach prides itself on being a year-round camping destination as there are many attractions for people to visit to keep themselves entertained. 

Pets are welcome in the campground but not inside the cabins that Beverly Beach rents out. However, if you have an RV, your pets can freely roam around the beach and a variety of walks.

Camp Gulf is located at Miramar Beach in Florida along the coast of the Gulf of Mexico. The campground is located right next to the beach but it is also a short distance from local shops and restaurants to explore.

The camp has a large range of activities for you and your family to enjoy with ball games like basketball, carpet ball, and shuffleboard, and games such as a variety of puzzles, billiards, bean bag toss, and Xbox games for all ages to enjoy.
